KELLY VILLANUEVA
For more than 20 years, fitness has been a central part of my life—both personally and professionally. My career has been rooted primarily in small group and large group fitness, where I’ve had the privilege of helping countless people build strength, confidence, and lasting healthy habits. My own fitness journey began long before I started coaching others. I competed in triathlons, participated in cycling events, and embraced an active lifestyle that fueled my passion for helping others move and feel their best.
Today, my primary focus is supporting women—especially those who are pre-menopausal or post-menopausal—navigate the unique changes their bodies experience with strength, knowledge, and confidence. I specialize in women’s health and fitness with an emphasis on building muscle, improving mobility, and supporting overall wellness through a holistic approach. I believe that staying strong, energized, and healthy as we age is not only possible—it’s powerful. My goal is to show women that they can continue to build strength, protect their bodies, and thrive in every stage of life.
Nutrition also plays a critical role in my coaching philosophy. I hold certifications as a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT), a Sports Nutrition specialist, and in Menopause and Women’s Health. These qualifications allow me to guide women through the important relationship between nutrition, hormones, strength training, and overall health.
My path into coaching is deeply personal. Before fully stepping into the fitness industry, I worked as a math teacher. When I left that career to raise my children, I found myself in a season where I had lost a sense of connection and identity outside of motherhood. Everything changed when I discovered group fitness. The community, support, and shared experiences with other women created a space where I finally felt welcomed, understood, and at home.
That experience shaped my mission today.
As my children grew older, I began homeschooling them while continuing to teach both small and large group fitness classes. Our family’s love for movement and adventure took us across the United States on bicycles—riding from state to state and even traveling from British Columbia to Alaska—all while continuing our homeschooling journey on the road. These experiences strengthened my belief that movement, resilience, and community can transform lives.
Today, I strive to create that same supportive environment for women and mothers who may feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of where to begin. My mission is to provide guidance, encouragement, and a safe space where women can rebuild strength—both physically and mentally.
