We are the sports performance coaching team at TeamCoachSchu, a family-owned, veteran-built training program founded with one mission: to help athletes move better, get stronger, stay healthy, and compete with confidence. With coaching roots dating back to 2007, our team combines real-world coaching experience, military discipline, and science-backed training to develop complete athletes.

Our sports performance team is made up of three dedicated coaches: Coach Schu, Coach Brandy—an Air Force Security Forces veteran, and our daughter, Coach Bella. Together, we provide hands-on coaching during every session to ensure athletes receive intentional instruction, accountability, and support—not just supervision. This team-based approach allows us to maintain high coaching standards while building strong relationships with every athlete and family we serve.

We specialize in biomechanics-based sports performance training with a strong focus on vertical jump development, speed, strength, power, injury prevention, and long-term athletic development. We do not believe in cookie-cutter programs. Every athlete is evaluated individually so their training aligns with their body, sport, and goals. Whether an athlete is just beginning their journey or preparing for collegiate competition, our priority is building durable, explosive, and mentally tough competitors.

Our coaching experience spans multiple sports including football, soccer, basketball, baseball, softball, volleyball, and more. In addition to our coaching backgrounds, our program is supported by an extensive medical foundation. Coach Schu brings 22 years of U.S. Navy medical experience, including Anatomy and Physiology, Navy Corpsman service, EMT experience, Fleet Marine Force service, and multiple surgical specialties. This medical background allows us to bridge the gap between performance and health—training athletes hard while prioritizing longevity and injury prevention.

We work best with athletes who want more than just a workout. Our ideal athletes are coachable, motivated, and committed to understanding how their body moves and performs. We are especially passionate about helping youth and high school athletes prepare for the next level—physically, mentally, and emotionally.

Today, TeamCoachSchu athletes are competing across the NCAA, NAIA, and junior college levels, with 40+ college commits and counting. Everything we do is built on trust, consistency, and measurable progress.
